Kotor & Budva, Montenegro
Kotor & Budva, Montenegro
We will pick you up at 09:00, and transport you to Shkodra for entry to Montenegro. Our first destination is the charming St. Stefan, originally a fishing village and now a renowned tourist destination. The island is connected to the mainland by a narrow bridge, surrounded by picturesque sandy beaches. Our next stop is the historic town of Budva, known as one of the oldest settlements in the Balkan region. The medieval town of Budva is situated on a small island that was connected to the mainland by a sandbar. The town is enclosed by 15th century walls and a fortified system with gates, walls, and towers. Inside, the streets are narrow and there are quaint squares lined with local restaurants serving a variety of fish dishes. We will then proceed to Kotor, which boasts a rich history and is considered one of the best examples of medieval architecture in the Adriatic. After a brief stop for coffee at one of the town squares, we will embark on a sightseeing tour of Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This will include a visit to the Maritime Museum and St. Tripun's Cathedral.
