Tour Guide:

Located only 50 minutes away from Durres, Krujë is a historical Albanian town situated on a mountain slope. Originally inhabited by the Illyrian tribe of Albania, it was the first capital of the Principality of Arber in the Middle Ages before becoming the capital of the Kingdom of Albania. This town is famous for being recaptured by Albanian hero Skanderberg from the Ottomans in 1443 and is now home to the Skanderbeg Museum, the National Ethnographic Museum, Kruja Castle, and the Old Bazaar. The Krujë tour encompasses all of these landmarks, as well as the WatchTower, the Cave of Sari Salltik at the peak of the Holy Mountain, and a traditional lunch featuring "Tavë Dheu", one of the country's signature dishes.
