Voskopojë

Then, take a 20-minute drive to Voskopoja village where a guide will lead you on a walking tour of the town, showcasing the numerous churches, beautiful villas, and cable-stone roads. The tour will end with a traditional lunch at one of the area's excellent restaurants. During the Ottoman occupation in the Middle Ages, Voskopoja boasted the second biggest publishing house after Kostandinopoli.Voskopoja was a bustling town during this time, boasting over 40 churches and a population of 20,000 residents. The village also had a university-level school situated near the monasteries in the area. Known for its wool production since ancient times, Voskopoja was a prominent trading hub in the Balkans.
